Integrations Back-end Engineer – SaaS & API Ecosystems – Remote (LATAM)
Join a fast-growing SaaS company as a specialized Back-end Engineer focused on complex, high-stakes third-party integrations. You’ll architect and build resilient, queue-driven systems that connect enterprise platforms (ERPs, CRMs, Microsoft/Google ecosystems) using OAuth 2.0, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
This is a pure back-end role for an engineer who excels at handling unreliable third-party APIs, managing token lifecycles, and ensuring eventual consistency. You will leverage modern AI-assisted engineering workflows (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf) to accelerate development, while rigorously reviewing and validating AI-generated code against strict architectural, security, and performance standards.
💰 Salary: $54,000 – $78,000/year ($4,500 – $6,500/month)
📍 Location: Remote – LATAM (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay)
🗓️ Job Type: Full-time (40h/week), Long-term
🎯 Experience: 6+ years in back-end development and complex API integrations
🔧 Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js/NestJS, PostgreSQL, TypeORM, AWS SQS, Docker
🤖 AI Workflows: Hands-on experience with AI coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf), context engineering, and task decomposition
🔐 Skills: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, webhooks, event-driven systems, retries, dead-letter queues, backpressure
🚫 Focus: Pure back-end and integrations (no full-stack profiles)
🗣️ Languages: English (C2 required – confident in direct customer and stakeholder conversations)
🎓 Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (preferred)
🛡️ Probation Period: 90 days
