Full-stack & AI Engineer – LegalTech Document Platform – Remote (LATAM)
Join a fast-growing US-based tech initiative to build a secure, private legal research and document-editing platform. You will own the end-to-end delivery of a proof of concept (PoC) that operates over a client’s confidential files, utilizing local infrastructure (NAS), secure local indexing, and tightly controlled LLM API integrations (OpenAI/Anthropic).
This is a highly autonomous, project-based role for a senior engineer who thrives on translating high-level business requirements from non-technical clients into practical, secure, and functional technical solutions. You will validate the architecture, implement robust privacy controls, and deliver a working product ready for real-world testing.
💰 Compensation: $5,500 – $7,500/month (Part-time, ~25h/week)
📍 Location: Remote – LATAM (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay)
🗓️ Job Type: Short-term Contract (1 month, with potential for continued development)
🎯 Experience: 5+ years in software development and full-stack web applications
🔧 Stack: LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic), RAG, Vector Databases, Embeddings, Backend/API development
🔒 Skills: Document ingestion, indexing, semantic search, application security, sensitive-data handling, end-to-end project ownership
🚀 Bonus: Freelance/consulting experience, LegalTech or legal documentation background, enterprise search, hybrid cloud/NAS infrastructure
🗣️ Languages: English (C1 required – strong written & verbal communication for direct client interaction)
🎓 Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
