Senior Mobile Engineer – iOS & KMP Fitness Platform – Remote (Brazil)
Join a fast-growing consumer-facing fitness technology company as a Senior Mobile Engineer. You’ll own the iOS application and its technical direction, building production features in Swift and managing shared logic via Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
This role goes far beyond standard REST APIs. You will dive into BLE-connected hardware, high-frequency sensor data, offline-first synchronization, and Apple Watch integrations. Additionally, you will leverage AI-assisted and agentic development tools (like Claude Code) daily to accelerate workflows, review AI-generated code critically, and establish reusable engineering patterns.
💰 Salary: $48,000 – $72,000/year ($4,000 – $6,000/month)
📍 Location: Remote – Brazil
🗓️ Job Type: Full-time (40h/week), Long-term
🎯 Experience: 5+ years in mobile development with substantial production iOS experience
🔧 Stack: Swift, iOS, Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), Kotlin, TypeScript/Node.js (reading/API contracts)
⚙️ Skills: iOS architecture, Swift Concurrency, Kotlin Coroutines, complex state management, networking, persistence
🚀 Bonus: Experience with BLE/connected hardware, watchOS, firmware/OTA updates, or high-frequency sensor data
🤖 AI Workflow: Daily use of AI-assisted/agentic development tools (e.g., Claude Code) for coding, architecture, and testing
🗣️ Languages: English (B2 minimum – strong written & verbal communication required)
🎓 Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
🛡️ Probation Period: 90 days
