Senior Software Engineer – Vertical SaaS & Embedded Finance – Hybrid (NYC or SF)
Join a fast-growing, Series B vertical software company that is using AI and embedded payments to rebuild core HR, finance, and operations systems for the physical economy. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the end-to-end design and implementation of products and systems, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to shape technical architecture and the product roadmap.
You’ll work in a lean, AI-native environment where engineers run projects from technical blueprints to full-stack implementation, while maintaining direct contact with customers to understand their real-world needs. This is a high-impact role for a collaborative, merit-driven builder who thrives on ownership and elevating team standards.
💰 Salary: $190,000 – $230,000/year + 0.5% equity
📍 Location: New York City or San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 4 days/week in-office, Mon–Thu)

🎯 Experience: 4+ years in software engineering with a proven track record of delivering production systems
🔧 Stack: TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js/Express, MongoDB
🧠 Skills: Data modeling, API development, end-to-end feature ownership, technical blueprinting, code reviews
🚀 Bonus: Experience in vertical SaaS, construction tech, fintech (embedded payments/Stripe), or AI-native workflows
