AI Data Researcher – LLM & RAG Evaluation – Remote (LATAM)
Join a fast-growing productivity software company to own and drive the quality of the LLM and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) evaluation system. You will run structured evaluations, perform deep root-cause analysis to distinguish between retrieval, ranking, prompt, and model failures, and maintain high-quality evaluation datasets.
This is a highly technical, AI-focused role for a researcher/engineer who thrives on solving ambiguous problems. You’ll refine judge rubrics, design controlled experiments with clear baselines, and automate repetitive analysis to ensure top-tier AI performance and reliability.
💰 Salary: $36,000 – $60,000/year ($3,000 – $5,000/month)
📍 Location: Remote – LATAM (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay)
🗓️ Job Type: Full-time (40h/week), Long-term
🎯 Experience: 4+ years in data research, applied analytics, or AI/ML evaluation
🔧 Stack: Python, SQL, LLMs, RAG, Prompting, Retrieval Systems
🧠 Skills: Root-cause analysis, dataset maintenance, prompt refinement, experimental design, automation
