AI Field Engineer – Enterprise AI Infrastructure – Remote (US-based, with travel)
Join a fast-growing, Series D AI infrastructure company as an AI Field Engineer. You will be the technical tip of the spear, embedding directly with ambitious enterprise customers to turn complex GenAI challenges into scalable production systems.
You’ll lead technical discovery calls, build end-to-end proofs of concept inside customer environments, and guide clients on model selection, fine-tuning strategies (SFT, DPO, RFT), and evaluation frameworks. This is a highly visible, customer-facing engineering role for someone who combines deep hands-on technical expertise with the executive presence to navigate large organizations and drive deals from first discovery to production deployment.
💰 Salary: $176,000 – $224,000 base | OTE: $220,000 – $280,000/year + equity
📍 Location: Remote (US-based) | Regular on-site travel to enterprise customers

🎯 Experience: 3+ years in client-facing AI/ML, field engineering, or solutions architecture roles
🔧 Stack: Python, vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP
🧠 Skills: LLM inference, fine-tuning workflows, GPU infrastructure, enterprise pre-sales
